Director: Steve Larson
Steve has been involved in church planting for over a decade. He’s been the director at NCCE since the fall of 2007. For the past several years Steve has also been a church planting director with the East 91st Street Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN. E91 has helped to plant over 50 churches, including 40 during the past decade. Prior to that, Steve and his family planted Crosspointe Church in Cary, NC. Crosspointe helped to plant several more churches in NC and today nearly 5000 people are part of those churches located in NC.
Steve and his wife, Shelly, have been married for over 25 years. They have two kids-daughter Alana is 19 and their son Michael is 16. Steve and Shelly reside in the community of Haslett, in the Lansing area of MI.
Field Representative: Ron Scott
Ron Scott has been involved in new church work for nearly 30 years. Ron served as a sales executive before God got his attention. Ron started following Christ in his mid 30’s and then made a career change as well. For over two decades Ron served as the Director of NCCE. Ron helped to plant many churches including the break through Churchill Meadows Christian Church in Canada, as well as the fast-growing Southpoint Community Christian Church in Trenton, MI.
Ron “retired” from NCCE six years ago and joined the Southpoint congregation as Associate Minister. We’re glad to welcome him back as he utilizes his experience in church planting once again. Ron and his wife, Mikie, have a great zeal for serving God and ministering to people. Ron and Mikie live in Grand Ledge, MI.
Administrative Assistant: Mary Lenski
Mary has the ability to keep many plates spinning. In addition to working on the staff of NCCE, Mary has her own business. She and her husband Barry have seven grown children and 17 grandchildren. Chasing those grandkids around keeps Mary on the go as well. Mary has been involved with NCCE for the past five years. When it comes to the accounting, paper work, and details Mary is in her element and helps this ministry in numerous ways. Mary and Barry live in Clare, MI.
